Iwas fortunate enough to hear Going Home last time!
But on the whole, i agree with the other sentiments here...tour personnel being the same - yeah - i can see that being a good thing - they are a talented bunch of guys.
However, concernes over the setlist do still remain...
Calling Elvis - No thanks - hang up the phone
Walk of Life - No - sit back down
What it is - No it isnt - not again!
Telegraph Road - The road to nowhere
Romeo & Sultans - We arent gonna get away without these are we - no matter what anyone thinks about not playing them this time
Why Aye Man - Oh God Man (no!)
Speedway - mmmmm - if im honest - no
Money for Nothing - Money for NOT playing it??
There is so much quality back catalogue material - and yes - iknow the arguement about signposts in peoples lives and they are now "our" songs as we have played them at significant times in our lives etc - but i really do feel the setlist could do with a good shake up - oldies are good - but fresh oldies please! Oh and a nice dollop of Get Lucky - as tunes like Get Lucky, Cleaning My Gun, Piper, Border Reiver etc - shouldnt be overlooked
