Some Classic Straits covers

For those who was interested by Live Music without overdubbing, here is my most recent filmed (poorly) concert with some classic DS stuff.
It's not a cover perse, its a band feeling about the songs.

Oh, man. Thank you for the compliments. 
Speaking in a tech way, i try to manage the tempo/response of the delay pedal to fill the holes when i am soloing or doing harmony.
I am always using an uni-vibe pedal on vibrato mode to create more ambience.
Well, my playing is a bit dirty. So, i think that helps too. 

But its not evererything about guitar tone. The band is amazing too. They have solid grooves and bass lines. So the song is never "empty"

About C Numb.
I think more like an keyboardist then a guitar player.
During the solos, i tend to increase the delay response to create 'the vibe'
The rest is the way that i feel the songs.

As the sole guitar player in my band now,I was really interested in how you played Sultans too and watching your performanceI have some progress to make in that area as it's also the only song I'm singing in our set.
Nice fills and solos in Six-blade knife too really!
Don't worry for your English, it's flawless as far as I'm concerned (a French man)

Your band is a trio too? I mean, there are only 3 instruments besides the vocalist.

I'm glad that you are listening my Sultans solos.
My main inspiration for playing Sultans are the Alchemy version (that is obvious ), the Live at BBC version (i made that staccato on the first solo) and the Robbie McIntosh version that he played with John Illsley.

The phrases that i put on the gaps just pops up during the song.
But theses phares represents, at the maximum, 15% of the song.

I am moving to Portugal next couple of days.
Maybe, who knows, we catch up for a jam.

Yeah Robbie McIntosh playing is up there with the best on the Illsley cd.
No my band is far from a trio as there are 7 of us. Besides the two singers (male/female) a bass and a drum obviously, a keyboard player and a harmonica. So my job is not as tough as in a trio, at least the keyboard can  take care of the harmony but it can't replace a second guitar and in a lot of songs 2 guitars are a staple so I'm always on the look out for one-guitar version of songs
I'd like to post something in this forum sometimes but I'll wait until it's good enough as there as too many great players here.
Our harmonica player is really very good and so are the singers but I don't consider myself a musician, I love playing guitar but I don't practice as much as I can.

Hey, you don't need to worry about your playing.
It's not a competition. It's all about doing Music.
I encourage you to post your videos here. It's a nice way to improve our playing.

I enjoy play in big bands with 6 or 7 musicians.
Everyone knows his place.
