MK In HD!

....if its any consolation - the show is set to record tomorrow night......

Well, record it anyway, then we have two options...

1. We all come round to your house to watch it.
2. If you do decide to upgrade your HD once your warranty runs out, keep this recording on the OLD HD, then send it to one of us with Windows to remove.



Simples!

I did watch it and personally thought it was pants - hence the lack of review.

Donegan's Gone - This i would have loved to hear - but it was cut from the show!!

Song for Sonny Liston - slow and lacked something....

Rudiger - this was a slower tempo than we are used to....

Let it all go.....yeah ok - this was alright - but really slow

The fizzy and true love - preferred The Fizzy to True love - had quite a 'hank' sound.....

DWB - heard it toooooo much and it put me off straight away.....

Postcards - probably the highlight of the show - just like the tune - but MK didn't look on top form even on this track....the crowd were like they didn't want to be there and clapped 'when they had to'

I dont know what it was about this "concert" - perhaps it was because RB and the worf weren't there - but it lacked something - Guy and Danny did a good job.....but if im honest - i was really disappointed..

When I watched this promo in 2007 I, too, thought that MK was very off-form.  He looked tired, as though he hadn't slept all night or else wasn't very well.  The only songs I really enjoyed were "DWB", "Postcards" and an amazingly beautiful "BIA" which is my favourite of the 2007 promos.    I don't think the Basel promo was anywhere near as good as Berlin, Amsterdam or Madrid.  

The performance of MK on this promo was not representative of his wonderful performances on the concerts on the KTGC tour that followed in 2008.
