Well, only to get a reaction, I'll put the name Il Divo out there for opinions. Matt has already made his opinion crystal clear.
We went to a concert to please my friend, and was amazed at the range in ages of the audience--including a whole passel of screaming girls in the expensive down front seats and old old ladies in wheelchairs. One lady asked me to move so that she could see her "favorite group" better, especially the one with the "twinkle in the eyes." Then almost every time he soloed, she'd nudge me and say, "that's the one with the twinkle in the eye." Their voices are good, but I just don't know. . . . . Very very staged. very very choreographed. very very dependent on sex appeal.
The dinner before the concert was fantastic. That restaurant makes the best custard in the world. Certainly I can say I love that!
