MK on Scotty Moore
« on: July 04, 2016, 11:05:21 AM »
With such a busy weekend in Chalke Valley, I all but forgot to mention that MK was on the most recent  BBC Radio 4 programme "Last Word". This is a weekly obituary programme and one of the people considered on last week's programme was Scotty Moore, Elvis Presley's guitarist.

This is not the easiest programme to find on the BBC's i-player because it is listed under "T" (as though the programme were called "The last Word" not "Last Word") but here it is:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07hj8bg

The Scotty Moore segment is very brief, right at the end (starting around the 24 minute point) but the rest of the programme, like many in the series, tells you about people of whom you may never previously have heard.  Mark comes in just before the 26 minute point and says just a very few words.
