Ruby Turner & Mark Knopfler - Try a Little Tenderness
« on: June 13, 2016, 12:04:10 PM »
I knew Mark played this song live at this Sir Bobby Robson honorary event. But this is the first time I've seen footage of it. Going Home already circled around I believe. If I remember well someone from AMIT played bass at this event!? Anyway here's the video.

Klaas, please amend the typo in your heading - it's Ruby (nor Runy)

So awesome!!! Thanks Klaas for giving us this link.

Amazing.  So good to see Mark in a situation like this. He seems all caught up in it. Must have been a blast playing with Ruby!

Exquisite voice. Without any of the dragging that modern rnb singers usually use. And who is the AMIT bass player? And the DVD for sale! http://www.mawson-wareham.com/product.php?prodid=93
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

That would be me. And yes, the show is available on DVD, with proceeds going to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. :-)
