Hi there, Just signed up to the forum and having a lot of fun reading the posts. Also signed up for a couple of the astounding audio / dvd collections circulating and being very patient until I get a pm saying they are ready to send to me. They look well worth the wait and my congratulations and thanks to the compiler.
I started off being a huge Dire Straits fan from the first album and saw them at Wembley in 1980 I think it was and also both December nights at what was the Hammersmith Odeon before it became the Apollo and any other names, one of the nights Clapton turned up as guest. We knew someone might turn up there was an extra plug on the stage floor! Very high tech
Still very very fond of the early albums.
