Very strange and sad story, seems the great Gerry Rafferty has been missing for seven months.
Didn't realise he had problems with alcohol.
Such a shame that so many great talents succumb to the problems associated with drugs and alcohol.

According to Ceefax today, Gerry Rafferty has confirmed he is very well and living in Tuscany. He is still writing songs and hopes to release a new album. He has thanked his worried fans. So all's well that ends well!

Good news, but these claims from the manager of the hotel he was in last year don't fill me with confidence, "urine and vomit", eurgh.

The hotel room sounds revolting, but I think he is a very sad man and obviously needs help.
