Talking Heads with Mark & John.
« on: February 23, 2015, 08:38:56 PM »
I know Dire Straits supported Talking Heads in 77, but was unaware there was any audio of it about.
I have just seen this on John Illsleys facebook page.
Can this be verified?

And a crowd of young boys they're fooling around in the corner
Drunk and dressed in their best brown baggies and their platform soles.

Yes, I have that book. I was just unaware there was any audio from those gigs. In particular with Mark & John joining them on stage.

That audio surfaced last year and was shared at laknopflertk tracker, actually a Talking Heads concert surfaced, and a Dire Straits concert as their supporting act also surfaced at the same time.

You do not need to apologize: I'm sure many have missed the news, hidden in the "torrent" thread.
