Hey, I searched for a while but it's tricky. There seems indeed no site that contains the lyrics. Plus some state that this sone might have different names...
I also have trouble to understand the words from the way Steve is singing at the Snape gig... So some real UK citizen has to do it!

Some of the Hillbillies lyrics vary from the originals, especially the older numbers.  Remember some of the songs date back to the 20s and have been severely Hillbillied!  If I remember, the original Blind Blake song Rope Stretching has an extra verse and musically is completely different.
"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

The correct title is not "steel rail blues"?

Yeah, read that, too. But can only find the lyrics for "Steel Rail Blues" from Gordon Lightfoot - everywhere. No Steve Phillips.

They would had changed the lyrics by whatever reason. There is a spotify playlist with all the original songs that the NHB sung live, and who did it (jbaent?) said that some of them were tricky, like Rainy Day, as there are so many songs titled like that.

 http://open.spotify.com/user/jbaent/playlist/4yunAy7HWymYKDNrTiBNvx

Some of the songs are wrong, as I recall listening it some weeks ago.

Yes it IS a total different song, what I meant was if you search for that song from Steve Phillips, you will not find it but only that other Lightfoot song. So I guess Steve Phillips has maybe not sold too many copies...
