Playing piano
« on: June 12, 2014, 10:55:13 PM »
before playing guitar, I was playing piano. I learned it during 4 years, and then played it in a band, but it was 30 years ago.

when my eldest daughter started to play piano 4 years ago, I came back to the instrument and started to play again, but not really seriously, just improvising and playing songs melodies with basic chords.

this year I proposed her to play a 4 hands piece, and her teacher gave us the "dolly" lullaby by Faur

Yeah, great stuff!  Not an expert by any means but one piece of playing on the piano I really enjoyed was on the theme to the film Billion Dollar Brain by Richard Rodney Bennett.  The opening titles (by Maurice Binder of 007 fame) are great too:

Sorry, yt preview not working.  ???

Great JF! Bravo! My little ones are too small to learn the guitar and then teach me!
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
