Still HUGELY irritated that the pre-sale NEVER showed up on IE8 on my desktop (which WAS running on my now-LESS-than-trusty-pc)...

Seriously... when you test applications before implementing such an important application as MK presale, don't you always test multiple browser versions? 

Nja.  I am still GOING!!!!!! 

IE is no longer recommended, even by Microsoft.
I use Firefox for years, and now I'm going to swap to Chrome more and more.

You are right, websites should work for all browsers, but I'm making some websites myself and I can say that it always works fine on all browsers except IE.
So forget it. 

I am working on it, JF!  Certainly before the next pre-sale!!!!

Presale is a good system if you don't expect any particular seat or row. 
A typical seat assignment is you'll be close to the stage but not the very first rows. lets say row 4 or 5
That's good but not so good. You're not close enough to have a perfect view but you're too close to film.
