Wow, that's pricey!  Looking at the build quality you certainly pay for it now.  Back in the 80s/early 90s you got that or even better from the likes of Sony in their ES series and the cost was affordable to everyone.   I'll bet they don't use the high grade capacitors Sony ES had either.

Too true... Just get a good high end (second hand) turntable and phono amp....
