Why isn't MK on social media?

David posts a lot on FB and Twitter. What can be the reasons for MK avoiding social media?

Just the last week I witnessed a 82 years old woman with a smartphone, she took pictures and stuff. And most 82-ers don't.
And have you forgotten, Mark said he got in trouble with any electric appliance with more than one light on it.

With that being said, I miss Mark tweeting about something or write something on Facebook.
But when I imagine all the dumb comments underneath, then I say "Thank God he's not on social media".

By the way, David's Instagram says something like "I still don't know how to use this thing", so even he isn't all mighty Social Media guru.

and is not interested, in my opinion.
from Gilmour i KNOW he is on social media, but only in closed circles. not open to the general public. his wife has a good "public" presence besides her private one though, she shares cool stuff.

I don't think every famous person needs to be on social media, and Mark is generally a private person.

Guy is his link to the outside world.  It is probably a wise thing because he knows he'd be asked the same questions all the time.

You got to consider his age also. My parents are around his age and "doesn't need" all that social media, too.
I'm sure if Facebook and YouTube were around in his 20s, he would be one of the top-bloggers or something.

To be honest, I'm a victim of social media. It's like a drug and you barely can beat it, but I must keep trying.

By the way, Mark said one time in an interview, that he's a "victim of a laptop". So nobody is a saint, hehe.

But he wants to interact with people only through his songs and if he wants to say something, it finds its way into his lyrics, blah, blah, blah.

There are many euphemisms for "I'm just too lazy for doing it", "I don't care" or "I'm too wise and old for using this childish Facebook stuff".
