Thanks Joan - I'm glad you had a good time!     I notice that Mark is conforming to Bob and his band's dress code lately!    ;)

My first live Mark show;  heading towards 30 of Bob's.  Maybe it was
the acoustics in the front row, but the first two above sounded a
lot better than what I've heard from other shows (Oct 18, Nov 7;
Hide, resp. "Hurricane62" for flacks --- thanks to amarkintime1's DVD).

Would be nice to have sound and/or other comparisons.

Joan, thanks for the review. Glad you had a good time.  You were LUCKY to see MK with BD.  I also didn't like people walking in during Mark's set. Very annoying to me.  I understood completely what you meant about missing Mark's own show.  Hope your post MK blues won't get you down too much this time.  Doesn't MK look great/??????? :thumbsup ;)

A real pity about these half empty venues, and even more of a pity to hear that most of the time the audiences have been there to see Krusty rather than Mark.  In Europe last year the crowd seemed to be slightly more into Mark but appreciative of both artists and at least the venues were filled.  Of course all Mark had to was play Sultans or MFN in the set, maybe stuck in WOL for good measure, and Bobs crowd would have gone mad.  Oh, and on the fliers they could have put "the voice and guitar of Dire Straits!" ;D
"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

Dear Joan, I am glad to hear that you had a great time! I can imagine how annoying it is when people walk in while Mark and the guys are playing. I would be annoyed as well! I read that last year also some fans of BD didn't behave, but lucky most of them did and they had a great time as well even without DS songs!  ;D

Quote: "Anyway, it was a great night, and MK looked cuter than ever. :P"

Haha, if you say so then I believe you! ROFL  ;D

I hope for all of you in the USA that Mark will be back next year, it is terrible when you have to wait a few years!

Btw Welcome to AMIT UBD3, I hope you have a great time reading and posting!
