Transatlantic sessions
« on: February 02, 2012, 10:55:55 PM »
McCusker, McGoldrick and Cunningham (and several other seriously good folkies like Aly Bain) will be doing a show at the Royal Festival Hall London Monday night. Anybody going? Perhaps Mark will be there!?

The concert was amazing!   Wonderful music from everyone and a great deal of fun and laughter on stage.   Ruth Moody, who is singing on Mark's album has a really beautiful voice and it was nice to have a little chat with her after the show.  :)

Jealous! I wish I had braved the snow. The stuff is still on the ground and -8C predicted for tonight!

Where do you live?   Our concert was at the Sage at Gateshead, but we managed to get to Newcastle from Leeds by train, even though there was thick snow most of the way.
