London Mega Concert 2012?

Just read about plans to do a 12 days-concert-marathon along the Olympic Games in London with the aim of selling a million tickets. There is talk about
bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Spice Girls (!), Take That, Paul McCartney, and Madonna. Venues: East London, Hyde Park and Victoria Park.

Now what exactly I was thinking when I read this? Just guess!!!

Just don't see Mark doing this sort of thing.  Not his style.  Also, it would be a big deal to gather the usual band members from the USA (may be busy too).  He isn't mainstream either, it's amazing the number of younger people who haven't even heard of MK in this country. 

DS is another thing though but that is a no-no as far as I'm concerned much as I would like to see it.  I watched a few songs from the gathering on 24.07.02 last night and it was a great concert;  Sultans was fantastic, so pacy!

I was thinking about DIRE Straits...  DIRE !!!!

But I know it's quite unrealistic. It was my first thought nevertheless...

But a 12 days-concert would be nice. One will have to decide then if he will watch sports or music. Or buy a new hard disc recorder...
