They are coming for three concerts to Germany, Hamburg, Cologne and Mannheim, for the first time after 20 years. As I think that there won't be any MK tour this summer (dates should have been announced in that case, shouldn't they?) I will give him a try, probably Hamburg...
Any experience among the AMITers with Tom Petty live on stage? I am not too much into him, just liked the Travelling Wilbury stuff and the hits of course,
and that famous album of him, Into The Great Wide Open...

About Knopfler touring this year... I only expect for a short time anouncement, as when they released the record with Emmylou Harris... I heard rumours about touring this spring, but doesnt look like the album will be release so soon.

Maybe a release in april and starting a tour at the same time? hmmm, venues may be booked already, who knows.
