Actually, just listened and MK's voice is uber-rough.  

Yes, it was a bit rough, like a cinder under a door, but I like it a lot!    

There's another one, pretty similar, "On Raglan Road" that I have on an album called "Sult - Spirit of the Music" which has a whole host of artists, including Van Morrison, Donal Lunny, Liam O'Flynn, Paul Brady, Brian Kennedy (brother of Bap) and many others.

Oh, I love "The Bridge" - It's available on a beautiful album by Liam O'Flynn called "The Piper's Call".  I love Liam O'Flynn's work.

Actually I prefer MK's "On Raglan Road" over all the others floating around. That rough voice is just perfect for this poem.
