Michael McGoldrick and Donnald Lunny recording with a spanish school

A very good friend of mine, who teachs english in a school in Nigran (Vigo, Galicia, Spain) was involved with other teachers in a very big and nice project over the last two years that made her to met Michael McGoldrick and Donnald Lunny who worked with Mark Knopfler in many projects.

The project was to compile a cd with songs sung by the children of three schools, the one in Nigran (Galicia), one in Bray (Ireland) and one in Manchester (England), with a musician from one of this places, Xose Manuel Budiño (Pipes) from Galicia, Donnald Lunny from Ireland and Michael McGoldrick from Manchester. This is the result:

I am one of the coordinators of the projects. I know it doesn't sound right if I say this... but the CD-DVD has been made by extremely proffesional people. It has an incredible quality of sound and video. The musicians worked really hard with the kids and we the teachers of the three schools are so grateful for it. Mike is so humble and talented! I received the dvd+cd combo today, wow, what a brilliant package!!!!
