Black pedal in Mark's set - Alchemy.
« on: November 16, 2023, 10:45:03 AM »
Yesterday watching TR on Alchemy I noticed something in Mark's set, next to the volume pedal there was another black pedal, I would like to know what pedal it would be. Furthermore, you can get a better look at the pedalboard he was using at the time.

Does anyone have any idea what pedal this could be?

Really tough to guess from those pics but if I had to have a stab I'd say it was something akin to a Morley pedal. Their classic wah has that kind of design....

I'm actually wondering if its the morley volume pedal he was known to use from 79-81? Could he have 2 volume pedals set up for different swells?

Interesting post Bruno..

Hi Brunno! I think that it's a WAH Pedal, used on Industrial Disease

Morley also do an identical pedal to their volume pedal, the classic wah from that era. The attached pic is a newer model but they haven't changed the designs much since their inception.

Good pedals as well....

Exactly!
Talking to a friend, he believes that it must be the cry baby kind of thing he used for the It never rains end solo, which makes a certain sense, since there is no logic in him having two volume pedals in the set, the silver one is the volume pedal, the black one must be the cry baby.

Yes, im 99% sure that is a wah pedal. Industrial Disease sounds like with a wah in a fixed position, using that like a EQ Filter. Likes he did in the OES Tour on Money for Nothing.

It’s a Crybaby wah. For other info about LOG gear, you should check out Ingo’s great post:
