-Is there a place in the world you'd still like to visit / wish you could have visited (in case the place no longer exists)?
- Are there books/films/other people's records that you keep coming back to?
- What message/advice would you give to a child/teenager today?

why does it appear to be so difficult of artists working together, we all hope for a combo with Gilmour or with EC, but that always seems to be "..difficult.."?
what do you listen to on a saturday evening and on a sunday morning.
who were your 10 favourite artists before 30?
who would you really still like to collab with?
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Thanks privinvest, that looks like a promising start.
We know the answers to about half of them because he's answered them in different interviews.
But the other half sounds like a good starting point.
Some may not apply  (concept album), some might need re-phrasing in order to make them less personal, e.g. "Which song of yours holds the most personal significance?" could be "Are there songs that hold a special personal significance for you?", so he'd be free to pick one.

Which artists have you enjoyed that have come out since 2000?

The point about “how do you deal with criticism?” Is an interesting one,
Most of the criticism of his music comes from Mark himself[
