Always interesting to hear a musician share his experience of working with MK.

Funny story about one glass of wine  :D

Thanks for that. I like that he is so candid and open about the experience. Guy and Richard wouldn't have revealed half as much. Tim's a top class musician with lots of experience, and it's great to hear his perspective on Mark as a person and musician and the whole machinery that's in operation during tours.

Great stuff! One would think life on tour is one big celebration with good food and great wines, but it appears to be quite a sober venture  :o

A bit random lol, so as the tours themselves, I guess. I don't know if he screwed up Sailing To Philadelphia because of the wine though, the song is hard and needs more than a short rehearsal and get it live right away. I would be surprised for he not screwing up lyrics in these circumstances. I laughed at the vocals bit routine for MK, especially knowing how hard real singers deal with it, working on their vocal cords for a good portion of the day, warming up etc. Mark just mumbles :lol

He rehearsed it more or less for 3 weeks, 6 days a week, LOL...

Lol, my bad then. I like it more when Mark is singing this song alone anyway, cause it's nearly impossible to recreate the beauty of the studio record. Not even because of James Taylor, but because it's challenging for MK also. His usual mumbling style suits this song better, maybe with some backing vocals from Guy.

Wasn't lucky to hear the Mark & Tim duet on that one so I get no opinion.
