Oh no  :'(

Such a legend to be missed for eternity. This is one of them where you say that there won't be another.

She had made no secret about her health problems and the 2021 documentary Tina was already her goodbye to the fans.
Rest in peace.

R.I.P. Tina, such a huge loss to music, we all know about Private Dancer, but that was the 2nd half of her career, she had a long musical career before that, but, more importantly, she is a real survivor, her former husband Ike put her through hell, and it was only her strong will that aloud her to survive that, some of the things he did to her were truly awful. But as a performer she was second to none, a really dynamic stage presence, with a great and powerful voice.

It just seems like Mark is saying goodbye to lots of people at the moment, which is reminding us of how precious life is.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I know what you mean, the news page of the official site looks like the obituary pages of a who's who in music. Very sad....

A truly talented lady who overcame a lot.  You'd think with all she had life would be easy.

Let's think of this great performer in good times on stage with her friends:

"...and I blew up the radio in pretty short order."

Tina had this to say about Private Dancer:

"I never had to stoop to that in my life," she wrote in her autobiography. "But I think most of us have been in situations where we had to sell ourselves, one way or another.

"When I gave into Ike, when I kept quiet to avoid an argument, when I stayed with him despite longing to leave, that's what I was thinking about when I sang the song, the sadness of doing something that you don't want to do, day in, day out. It's very emotional."
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.
