The Legends Series – 1937 National Replica Mini Guitar
« on: March 07, 2023, 10:40:17 AM »
Hi,
Long story short I did not buy this but have it for free. I just wanted to share some pictures as it does not have such a smooth and cool paintjob as on these professional pictures on the MK website. So not only is it overpriced but the work could be better. I have it, and it is what it is.  I love it because of the iconic symbolism of the BIA album, which was the starting point for me as a teenager. Would I ever buy it, certainly not.
The USB key is actually pretty cool though. A heavy good quality thing with Mark Knopfler in 3 d.
There seems to be some sort of a chip placed inside the guitar. Can be seen on the back. I have no idea what that is for.

Thanks for sharing Peter. This reinforces my view that MK ripped off the fans with this toy guitar.

This seems to be an RFID chip, perhaps an NFC. Try to read it with your phone
