I don't know if commercials count but I recall What it is being used in a TV ad for Timberland, circa 2001. It may exist in the internet archives but I couldn't find it just yet.

Once you start paying attention to film music.

Watched a film about the beauty of Scotland yesterday and suddenly there was a ten second snippet of Good on you son!
