Speedway official backing track
« on: December 17, 2020, 09:41:59 AM »
Hello everybody.

Some years ago, I can't remember which site made a kind of contest for guitar players and they put the official backing tracks of Sultans and Speedway without the MK guitar so anyone could record his own guitar parts for that songs...

Anyone still has the Speedway backing track? A friend of mine used to have it to play along but his HD crashed and he asked me if I have it, but no, I don't.

Any help?

I'm pretty sure somebody still holds the original backing track, just wait. I remember this contest, one of the best contests MK ever did with the coolest prize, no stupid signed random given away guitars and all that BS. Record something, get acknowledged, meet MK — that's a contest we were all looking for! Also, the winner wrote a great article on a day of meeting MK, a very beautiful one. It wasn't for me though because I'm not a huge fan of electric guitars and especially copying solos over existing backing track.

Now that you mention the prize, I recall that blog post, it was nice...
