There aren't many pleasing outros from this tour at all in fact. I've always liked the Don Grosch sound on Piper. It's irrelevant which guitar he uses on it now anyway since he only backs John and Mike initially, then Graeme and Tom.

Looks as if he's using the neck pickup which appears to be a variation of a gold foil.
Doc, I’ve been reading up on Mark’s new Pensa Tele and its pickups, a Guyatone-style Gold Foil pickup in neck and a Suprocaster pickup in bridge, both made by Gemini Pickups in the US (not the UK company by the same name). The original pickups that these pickups are based on are particularly popular among slide players, especially guys like David Lindley, Ry Cooder and Blake Mills. Tell your boss to whip out a heavy glass slide and play that guitar through a Tweed-style amp on the verge of break-up. I think you’ll all be very delighted. Cheers, Tom
It really is a beautiful looking guitar, the wood grain, and of course, no inlays on the neck. Man is good to see him playing a neck without inlays again, BUT, it didn't seem to have enough bite to me last night.
It's whatsoever guitare for me, nothing that makes you say "wow", after the "shit band", here comes the time for the "shit guitar". With all due respect to Rudy.
