The songs speak to me and I've found new depths in marks live music this time round that have been absent for me for a while.

Yes, that's exactly it. Same for me.

... and he’s still here, playing in front of us for our pleasure, somewhat selfish. What will WE do when we are 70?
Well, for as long as Mark is still doing what he is doing, I guess we will still be doing what we do. Listening to his music, going to his gigs, running the bulls, albeit maybe a little slower than now (running of the snails). Discussing the merits of his playing compared to younger versions of himself. Moaning about the choice of songs for the set list. Hoping he will play a favourite track from DS days, being disappointed that he doesn't. But ultimately revelling in the joy of seeing the master perform live. No matter what he chooses to play. That after all is why we are here and contribute to this wonderful forum

A bad review always sounds stronger than a good one.

2013 and 2015 have been difficult tours for me but this time Mark seems to have adapted his playing to what he's actually able to perform and it makes the show smoother.

Witnessing OUATIW played that way is a real treats.
