I don't remember that Mark ever said he HATED one of his songs.  Instead, he recalls that he never found himself again on one, but never of Walk of live, but of Private investigations, if I remember correctly

Hate is too much of a word... Right away, two songs I heard Mark saying pretty harsh words about are "The Bug" (stupid lyrics) and "Wild West End" (the song that leads to nowhere).
