Notice that i´ve heard DTW version during the Communique Tour, and i think that David is using a Phaser effect on his rythm guitar
Check out the Rockpalast Version

yes of course, David used alos the phaser on the studio version, and on Once upon a time in the west
it seesm it was the phaser inclued on his Peavey Amp

note that on live at the BBC, (and I think on the barbarella bootleg too) there's no phaser

Yes, the phaser of the peavey amp, or an MXR pedal. No phaser on the demo, either
