Oh yes, almost all of his albums have at least one song with this ability to make you cry out of the blue. "5:15 am" is one of the best examples. On Tracker, for me, it's the pair "Lights of Taormina"/"Silver Eagle".

It's a nice feeling to know that the next album will probably have a song like that, too – and we've got no idea what it is, yet.

The song "Blue Ridge Mountains" reminds me of 5:15 a bit. It has the same quiet intro and quiet ending idea, it certainly builds up...
I wonder if Robin Pecknold is a MK fan. But he's a Bob Dylan fan, so I'm pretty sure he's aware of his music. Here's this amazing song:

It was the Newcastle 2013 live version I was actually listening to. They changed the bridge into some 1967/1969 hippie music style and Guy's synth sitar sounds are fitting so perfectly well... it really improves the song a lot.

Shangri-La has some of his best lyrics, never liked the sound though, a bit too laid back in my opinion (and I must admit I miss Guy's synths a bit ). I just listened to the Newcastle 2013 recording, great version indeed!
