Sultans of Swing 92
« on: June 12, 2019, 08:04:19 PM »
Hi folks!

I am looking for the fantastic version of Sultans of Swing from the 92 tour.
It was on Youtube before but is now gone.

Mark is wearing a yellow shirt.

Version with guitar and sax, and the quiet nice middlepart before it really takes off!

Maybe from Basel?

Can someone upload this video for me?

No I can’t, I’m afraid, but just wanted to say how pleased I am to see you back here. I remember you from T-Road days.

This one maybe? Your description is not very helpful as he was wearing  that yellow shirt the complete tour.  :wave The Basel show was also great but I like this version more.

Having watched them again now after a very long time and boy was his "singing" bad in those times.

Just watched the Basel version after many years, and I think it's one of my favorite "big format" versions. Mark's playing was incredible at that time. So fluid and authoritative, so different to his playing on SoS during the later part of his solo career. His voice was pretty bad, but I actually like that voice.
