Howdy Knopflerados! It's been awhile....

I've missed you all! It has been a very busy few months for me. I won't go into all the gory details, but let's just say I'm feeling better than ever!

I'm on the periphery of MK news and noteworthy events-in other words, I know there's a new album coming out and a tour scheduled for 2010. Barring any children of mine getting married or having babies (one never knows), Gerry and I will be planning on attending at least one MK gig. Keep your fingers crossed for us (attending gigs, not having marriages or babies during a tour)! Hopefully, we'll be able to meet up with some of you.

You're never far from my thoughts, fellow Knopflerados. I'm going to try and catch up with the latest MK gossip and start posting again. That's not a threat, but a promise. LOL!

One of my fondest wishes is to meet you, Gayle...I wanted to last year but I very, very much overextended myself. Things are getting better, but it's still tight...I would love to sit down and have a cup of tea with you and just talk about everything!! Dear Gayle and Jacki I LOVE ITto see you both back again!!   

You know what? Jans and I met Val and her husband last weekend in Amsterdam and we both have been wondering what happened with the 2 of you! ......Jacki, Jans asked me last week if I heard from you and was wondering how you feel! He even made a picture of an "IJsvogel" (that bird we saw in the Norwich museum) and told me that one was for you! 

We still miss some people, but when all the Knopflerados are back, we can have a special MK party at the forum!   Meanwhile we can have our board meeting and talk about things we can do at the party, about decoration, drinks, food, clothes etc ..........Ooohhh wait I want to look sexy!  you never know, Mark, Guy and the others might come to visit our party too, so I don't need much clothes to wear! 



Please let us know what your idea is of the perfect Knopflerados forum party!

Gayle and Jacki,  I think that both of your ears must have been burning at the weekend, or you are telepathic!  Fieneke and I were saying how much we missed you and the other ladies on the forum and lo and behold, there you are back with us again!      Please keep posting!

Nice to see you too, Fieneke and SuperVal, I've been really busy on a reviewing project for Amazon but am over that and have been sleeping a lot on my time off! And recently also got very involved with Facebook, finding old schoolmates who some of which I had not been in contact with these 35 years or more...and catching up on old photos. I'll try to catch up with you all this weekend...the weather is going to be awful I think, so I'll be inside! 8')
