That was not particularly good, I think. Like a generic, mediocre Chris Rea song.

it is with the SNCF trainstation jingle from the french trainstations.
david was in aix-en-provence, in the train station, and kept hearing this jingle before every announcement so he personally contacted the guy/company that made it, and now the creator has co-writing credits.

i CANNOT wait for this album to be released (will be the day before i go to my DG concert...should i wait to buy until after??)
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I´m really looking forward to this record too. A pity that he´s doing such a very short tour, I wanted to see him live but the small number of dates were announced so shortly that almost all dates got sold out in hours  :(
You might get lucky, now and then

I love David, I have paid a bomb on the black market to go and see him in Orange.
This being said, I am sad about this SNCF thing - one of the world's best musicians ever shouldn't have anything to do with a stupid, childish, meaningless commercial jingle.

I like it on first hearing. Sounds a bit like Fleetwood Mac - Chains.   :think

Sorry :) I guess I'm angry with David indulging in such stupidities, he deserves better than that !

I must admit I like it even it doesn't sound gilmourish to me
nice guitar tone

and well, strange feeling when I heard again the jingle in train stations...I was waiting for the full song  :smack
I will never take the train in the same way now....
