Actually, Banjo, the set closed with 'The Bug'. But I agree with you, it was all done to a very high standard, and even if it was inevitably Hamlet without the Prince, the songs were done justice by a very tight band, though neither Phil Palmer nor the other guitarist Simon Johnson, attempted much in the way of MK's finger picking style. JI did about five of his own songs - all seemed well written and performed - plus Leonard Cohen's 'First We Take Manhattan'. And eleven DS songs, as follows:-
SoS, Where Do You Think You're Going, R&J, Expresso Love, PI, SFA, MfN, WoL (the inevitable opener), BiA, Calling Elvis and The Bug.
We weren't quite sure what to expect, and had a thoroughly good time. The girl singer added a new dimension to several classics. Recommended, if JI's band comes your way.
