I absolutely love Aoife O'Donovan singing Bright Sunny South.   Saw her in Transatlantic Sessions live a few years ago singing a terrific version.   Here she is from the BBC4 series of TS:




Here's another great version and the first few notes do, indeed, resemble a certain song!   ;)

Great songs! If a small similarity such as this initiates such a great post with music suggestions, then let it be. And its only a couple of notes at the beginning. The man remains strong.

Both Aly and Jerry were mentioned at the beginning of the credits as Musical Directors.   ;)
