Have to agree with twm. A total waste of time. Apart from errors (this John Aiselwood or whatever has it all wrong and the others just gave top of their heads opinions-not wrong, but actually either harmless facts or plain personal views) it offered nothing new to attract the old fan and what's more I really don't get why spotlighting Local hero, Private dancer and the Dylan connections (and what they said had more to do with Dylan than Knopfler), which were MK solo things, thus wasting time from presenting Dire straits. This lack of focus in such a short program, cost several minutes and we had no live albums, live aid, Mandela or Knebworth references, etc. The only interesting thing I was reminded of, was how DS created these three videos for MM (and issued them on VHS) targeting Mtv. Of course these videos were, hmmmmm, a product of the day and they haven't dated well, (apart from Skateaway, which is quite fitting). A lost opportunity.
