Football Park 1986 concert venue to close this year

  West lakes Stadium (Football Park) the venue for what at the time was the biggest concert crowd at the venue will close this year after the Football Grand Final this weekend and a Bon Jovi concert later this year.

Strange thing is that I can remember it like it was yesterday.
Just as a side story my football team played the first ever game at the venue and they are playing in the Grand Final this weekend. They are very much the underdog and haven't won a premiership since 1991, which the last year that Dire Straits played in my City.
