Back to the subject of cookbooks: I love them, and I have a bunch, including the ancient ones inherited from my aunt. A few of those books have a bunch of recipes used and marked to return to or use often. A lot of the books have only two or three recipes used in them, but they are still worth it for those ones I do use--including the one for the recipe for my husband's favorite cake, which was his birthday cake. It took days to complete it, for it had to sit in a bit of bourbon for a while.
So even if Guy's book has just a couple of good recipes, I will consider it a good find. Actually there are probably a lot of great ones, but I am a little lazier about cooking than I used to be, and I don't want to get into too many complicated ones.
