The guitar featured on the album cover is a National Style 0 Resonator. The Style 0 line of guitars was introduced in 1930 and discontinued in 1941. The guitar is now owned by a guitar shop in California called Fretted Americana. The photographer was Deborah Feingold.
I think that Mark is still the owner of the guitar.
Fretted Americana sold a similar guitar, but it isn't Mark's one.

In the Michael Oldfield book about Dire Straits (officially aproved by MK and the band) says that Suicide Towers turned into Expresso Love, and Making movies into Skateaway.

In the first case was just a guitar riff, in the second just some verses...

which guitar are you talking about ?

if it is the National style O on the BIA sleeve, of course Marks still owns it

He's got also another national, a tricone one, you can see on some videos :
He still owns it too

The new song Seattle should be followed by It Never Rains in the new setlist.

Yes, most definitely. That way, we could hear two of his greatest songs, one right after the other. But then again, if he really were to play "Seattle" live (I think he won't), I guess Guy's synth work would ruin it all. :-\

Well, Guy might and might not. It Never Rains had some beautiful organ in it, and Guy can play a mean organ, as someone pointed out on Guy's forum today.

Tried to play the songs back to back. With some clever transitioning I think they could work very well together.

By the way, INR sounds very "Bob" - maybe Mark could get Bob to sing on it? Haha.

I agree, INR always sounded as a Bob influenced song to me and by far now my favourite from the LOG album. It was performed on the early leg of the tour that followed the album but was dropped from setlist after sometime. And I don't think that Mark is in that trip anymore although I would be delighted to be proved wrong next year.
