Free - Dire Straits Special - mei 1992

In mei 1992 heeft Free Record Shop ter gelegenheid van de Kuip-concerten van Dire Straits een special uitgebracht van haar blad 'Free'. Ik heb deze special gescand, hieronder zie je de pagina's.  De (niet-relevante) advertenties heb ik niet gescand. Ik kijk nog even of ik van de high-resscans een PDF kan maken.

Het zijn in totaal 28 pagina's, dus het is even scrollen geblazen :-) Veel leesplezier!

Goh, waar is de tijd gebleven zeg! Ik was toen een jaar of 15/16 en zat nog op de HAVO. (ha ha, had toen al wel gitaarles en was dol op de muziek van Dire Straits). Mijn moeder en toen haar beste vriendin, Yvonne, zijn toen inderdaad naar de Kuip geweest. Tja......, helaas voor mij, ik mocht niet mee........  :'(
Het was ook Yvonne die mij met het Dire Straits virus had aangestoken. Ze had had voor mij een kopie gemaakt van een DIre Straits casette bandje, ik heb dat cassette bandje echt helemaal grijs gedraaid......

In 1996, ben ik wel samen met mijn moeder naar Ahoy geweest, toen Mark er speelde in het kader van zijn Golden Heart Tour.
Dat was mijn allereerste concert. Ik heb er nog steeds mooie herinneringen aan, ookal zijn we inmiddels vele jaren en vele concerten verder.

Really great even though in Dutch. Too bad that people that don't speak dutch are not going to even look at it because it is in the dutch section. By the way even here in Greece they had some sort of special, (pop corn magazine had a special fold out cover with the albums as stamps and some inner pages with parts of a DS interview)  But with all these laws about intellectual property I am  not sure I can post it. If anyone is interested PM me.

fraid so...but it was the unique cover that made a difference. If you don't remember it, then I must have accidentally forgot to include it in the CD. Will PM you when I find it...
