British Grove Studio
« on: July 27, 2012, 04:04:03 PM »
 :) :) Hi Mark Knopfler Fans  :) :)

I have been in England for 2 1/2 week. As a big fan of Mark Knopfler, I went to the British Grove Studio. Here some Pictures.
As I was there, a man was coming along with his car. He opened the garage door and I could make some pictures of the entrance.
I asked him, if this is really 'British Grove Studio' from Mark. He answered yes. I asked him also, if Mark is here at the moment. But he told me no. What a pity.

Has anybody have been inside the studio?

Best greetings and I'm sure the new CD Privateering will be very good!!!

Thanks kudu88 for those pictures.  I was there last year in the place where the bicycle is in your picture and was talking to the window cleaner.  I could see the harmonium inside and people moving things around, but no MK unfortunately!   :)

Thank you for the photos. The bicycle could be Mark`s. It`s in the same colour than in this photo:

No, this is not the same bicycle. The first one seems to be a cross-country bike with a flat bar.

Considering the equipment inside, it's an unimposing looking entrance, and probably rightly so.

Do they do tours of the Abbey Road desk? I'd do that and the British Museum if I were in London. Is there anything else going on in London at the moment? :)

Or walk - you see so much more by walking, despite sore feet!    ;)

And you could go to the Battersea power plant, go looking for pigs on the wing.  :)
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Thank you for sharing these pictures Kudu88!

I never have been there, but I hope once to get a change to visit the studio!
