It is a very,  very nice area,  lots of great houses nearby.  I went and stalked one day while they were recording Privateering and other than Tim outside smoking you would have no idea it's a studio.  No noise.

We went to have a look last summer whilst we were in London and it was very quiet and secluded - no name, just a number on the gate.  I can understand why people are unaware of there being a music studio in the area.   The doors were open when we arrived and I could see the old piano and people moving things around inside.  The window cleaner came over and chatted with us!   :lol

I went down there when I was over for the Princes Trust gig a few years ago, I thought that I was in the wrong place until I asked some guy who said that he saw a few kids wth instruments outside the door a few times & then I got the WHO :o :o scenario when I asked was it owned by Mark Knopfler 8)

The last time I was around the studio a man riding his bike stopped next to us and told us "Do you know who lives there? Its Mark Knopfler!"

Everytime I remember about it I laugh a lot!
