Notting Hillbillies Playlist
« on: December 27, 2014, 12:09:11 PM »
I made using Spotify a playlist of the original versions of the songs that The Notting Hillbillies played since the early gig in Leeds 86 until the last concert in Beaulieu 2002, plus some of the songs in the record but never played live:

Not the writer - it was Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman penned. But he was indeed the first one to record it, two months before Elvis

Great listening to all the originals, especially the really old ones!  I've got the Blind Blake one myself, some of his other one are quite good too like He's In the Jailhouse Now and Southern Rag.
