That was really a very great eloquent and honest statement from our MK - love it! Talking about charity, bootleggers and stuff, I am not sure if a lot of   AMITers are familiar with this clip? I haven't seen it before. He appears very dedicated, straightforward and talks absolutely no bullshit - and very
fluently! Respect man!

Thanks for this Jarle!

Where did you find it?

You're welcome :) A nice interview with some great statements. I found it by coincidence when browsing Youtube for Knopfler-stuff :)

Hi,

Great clip.. yes I've seen it before but it is a great clip.

Mark's idea of doing something on a regular basis like Live Aid, never took off sadly.

A long time ago came a man on the track......

Really great too see this again, it's been a long time.
I've got the official Live Aid box set which I've not watched for ages.
I'm wondering if this clip is on there? I'll have to check it out.
Btw. I'd love the shirt MK is wearing. He used to wear it nearly all the time during
the BIA period & in the early 90's.
Classic MK, the headband & THAT shirt! 8)

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers. BBB

I agree BBB, that shirt is almost legendary and appears in so many photos - even in the subway wall mural down to Wembley.  It would fetch a lot at auction for charity.

Never seen this video either, thanks a lot Jarle.
