My guess is that Mark decides what to put on the album cover, whereas the single covers are simply photos from recent photo sessions, which are lifted from the album booklets.

I think so, too! We were able to take part a little bit on the process when we all followed the twits of Salvador Design in 2009. There was a photo session, and then the artist had to design his stuff - I remember the day when he was nervous about showing it to MK and getting his thumbs up! I think singles are not something that MK is interested in very much - and therefore they are put together from "alternative" cover ideas or left over pictures... Sometimes they are better than the original album - I for my part love the What It Is CD Single cover, with MK sitting in the boxing ring... Would love to have that pic as a great print on my wall...

I really love this one too;  sometime ago i printed it a framed it... but i think i've lost it now.... moved several times...
