Ive been using my ears for a while, it works ok. :-|

Oh, and just about every type of player around, from iPod to hi-fi. Having done some amateur recording I've found the humble modern car stereo is a good test for mixing levels, bass booms etc. It's amazing how hard it is to tweak levels, and then you try a song on another player and it's completely different.
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

all of the above, except mobile phone. I wish I had more time to listen on hifi (ie just listening, not doing anything else) but most of the time it's MP3 player while walking/cycling/running/not swimming and computer while working.

I listen mostly on an iPod and on a CD in my car.
Less often, I use the computer or home system.

Interesting question. These days I spend a little over 2 hours on the train everyday, so when I do listen to music, it's usually via a portable device. I use an iAudio 7 as a FLAC player with Sennheiser ie8 IEMs. I also have some other cool portable stuff like my beloved Rockboxed iRiver H120 and a Sony RH1 Hi-MD (this thing has an amazing preamp in it!), as well as some other headphones.

But that's about it. I don't have a big fancy hi-fi setup and the only other place I really listen to music from is my computer, where I've been using the same Logitech speakers/sub for the past five years.

I use different players, at home mostly winamp on my computer (especially for FLAC files), Mp3 CD in my car, iPod when walking around alone, and sometimes my iPad while travelling by train. :)

Car cd player when driving, OLD mp3 player when gardening, streaming when at work, and used Bose cd player to go to sleep and wake up to.
Nothing advanced or fancy.    Basic stuff.
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along

quite reassuring to see that hifi is still up there at the top (even if this poll is obviously not representative of anything)
