Just listening back to around the OES tour and in the Woburn interview  Johnnie Walker asks Mark about rumours of a future “nice gutsy R&B band with Brendan as a change for the hillbillies”.
This has also come up in a different interview if the time with talk of Terry Williams being involved.
I do wonder what that would have been like - could have been a lot of fun!

Would have been good but I'm pretty happy with the way things worked out, solo career then a few years of heavy NHB activity. There was a period where I was able to see him live in some capacity nearly every year, good times!

Yes agree, they were really great and diverse years!
