Check it out:
Saturday 17th of November at 18.15 hrs
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00016fh
I guess they might play something live as Guy says he's going to the programme too this friday, so probably they recorded it tomorrow and broadcasted it on saturday.

Not sure I can wait till April :)

Mark plays GOYS and "Local Hero" according to the BBC site. I'm having problems logging in right now - something drastically wrong with their site (as well as the institution). Clips are available if you can log in:

Pity, it says not available in my location. Any way to get around that?
-
I logg in, but its said:`´this content is not available in your location`´( i live in Brazil!!!)... >:(

Another cut down version of GOYS and Local Hero is just a playback of the album version. Nothing special
here unfortunately.
Hopefully he does something different with Jules and band!

Listened to a little bit of GOYS, but same stripped down format as Ken Bruce, crappy sound and a couple of mistakes so I turned off.

Oh dear.....
-
The stripped-down version of Good on You Son received many praises which from the beginning I never understood. The song is one of the weakest on the album (together with Back On The Dancefloor and one or two others). It was pimped by all this guy-ish rubbish and what's left over stripped-down is exactly... nothing... Not eager to hear it once more.. hope it doesn’t make it into the live set. So many other great tracks from the album to discover...

I guess we have to get in the mindset that MK hasn't played 'live' for quite a while and once he does get 'on tour' the Stage rust will disappear and he will once again hold his own once again!
Personally 'GOYS' is ok, but remember how the promo's went with 'Beryl' for Tracker, as that was the same.....
-
Indeed. Thing is that I don't see him rehearse much these days but using the first live shows for getting of that stage rust. Often the shows and his playing get really really well when in the second half and at summer outdoor gigs...

Still not working for me. They must be blocking me because they know what I think of them! lol

Good in depth 15min or so interview along with some very reasonable guitar playing - much better than the Radio 2 effort...

I thought the Ken Bruce show was better myself. Maybe I need to listen again.

Not playing wise I thought. MK's playing this time seemed more relaxed....
-
Can anyone capture the two song videos and share them? Thanks.

Personally, for me the echo on Wild Theme really ruined the song....way way too much echo...
I loved Wild Theme from the 1991/1992 tour and would love it to end the upcoming tour.....but this version....sorry....not good!

Here are the two songs and the complete show in audio format:

One 47.6 MB download for the 3 files.
If you don't like anything about the upload-TOUGH!

Really enjoyed listening to Mark on Loose Ends and thought his rendition of GOYS was slightly better than on Ken Bruce, Is there a video available like we had on Ken Bruce, I wonder? :)

Videos are available, but only for British residents, I guess.
